Atlantic crossing in regatta or for free
The eternal question for Atlantic crossing sailors is this one: should I do it in racing, or alone? If you finally decide for the first option, here is some information important for you.
The ARC as a pioneer in this type of event held every year over 200 boats in Las Palmas, not so much to compete but to share a dream.
The Grand Prix of the Atlantic, is the benchmark for any Spanish ocean sailor. Enrique Curt, passionate about ocean navigation has managed to consolidate this race biannually bringing together more than twenty vessels mainly from Spanish ports and Marinas. The format for this regatta is to change the destination, but it seems particularly Lanzarote Marina Rubicon has established itself as output port for the next race which will surely take your departure.
Finally, CCR with only one edition in 2013, has joined this group of ocean racing with this new proposal departing from Lanzarote (Rubicon) arrival Antigua, and we wish her a great future ahead.
