BARCELONA WORLD RACE. Everything ready to go!
BARCELONA WORLD RACE 2014
Everything is ready for these 8 ocean-racing VOR yachts to cast off on 31st December.
The fleet will sail round the Capes of Good Hope, Leuuwin and Horn, covering the 23,000 miles or so needed to circumnavigate the globe following the Great Circle route.
On Friday 12th December we sailed into Port Vell in Barcelona to attend the official opening of the Barcelona World Race Village. We can truly say that these stunning VORs are an exciting and colourful addition to Barcelona’s skyline, all perfectly lined up at the foot of the Columbus statue.
