Local products next to the sea in the market of Marina Rubicon
Today we are going to talk about one of that characteristic places in Lanzarote that are a must-need to discover. We are talking about the Marina Rubicón Market.
WHEN TO GO
First of all, we want to make sure to not miss their schedule, to afterwards enjoy it as much as possible.
Every Wednesday and Saturday from 09:00h to 14:00h.
In summer: Market Sunset, Friday from 18:00h to 22: 00h.
What an environment that is organized on this craft market that we can visit every Wednesday and Saturday in Marina Rubicon – Playa Blanca. As you already know, at the south of the island of Lanzarote.
ABOUT THE MARINA RUBICÓN MARKET
The market of Marina Rubicon is located in the square right next to the red house restaurant. There, we will discover many quality products, local crafts, jewelry, shirts, gifts, soaps… And the known and indigenous Lanzarote flagship product: aloe vera with high healing properties. Due to that, is a must product to acquire.
And what better than having traveled and discovered these suggestive positions, than continuing with a pleasant walk through this modern Marina. Here we have managed to integrate a typical landscape where not only the service from Lanzarote is given to ships. But it has become a leisure center. We will find a succession of streets with a wide variety of restaurants offering all kinds of food as well as shops with a nice local architecture. In addition, wooden pontoons punctuate this marina with a succession of bridges over the sea, that give it special appeal.
Finally, we can finish our walk by simply taking a snack on one of the «chill out» terraces here. Or approach any of the restaurants. Like the One Bar, that offers every Saturday an exquisite paella that we can not miss.
The One Bar is located at the end of the Marina, right next to the beautiful Captaincy Lighthouse that already represents an icon over this environment. The views and family treatment by the team of José María will go along the food quality.
