Would you be brave enough to cook up typical dishes from Lanzarote?

So here was the challenge: taking after the huge international hit series MasterChef, we decided to cook up a range of typical ‘Conejera’ dishes in a set time.

We’ve been talking a lot about how Lanzarote has been gaining weight when it comes to staging corporate activities and events, such as team building. Thanks to its great climate, attractive landscape and proximity to the European mainland, it has become an ideal destination.

Nautic Ocean wanted to take its desire to innovate a step further, and judging by the result of our latest event, we certainly managed to do so. A famous multinational pharmaceutical company visited us in March, so besides a day out at sea on the sailboat Gran Jotiti, we suggested another idea: a MasterChef competition at our mythical beach bar on Papagayo beach. Along with our regular collaborators OVERLAP, specialists in talent management and HR management, we set out on our culinary adventure!

The spectacular event was an incredible success, with members of the company’s management team having a great time and producing some impressive results. The jury, led by our very own chef, was pleasantly surprised at the quality and presentation of all the food. Then entire team later sat down to a relaxing dinner featuring the dishes made during the event.

And what better end to the evening than watching the film that all of us sailing enthusiasts love, «Wind«?  And the following day, out on the water again…
