«Orbest will operate this summer three routes between Bilbao Airport and the island of Lanzarote.»
The ex Orizonia airline acquired by Barceló Viajes, will operate this summer between the 17th of June and the 30th of September three routes between Bilbao Airport and the Canary Islands. Lanzarote Island, due to that, will be connected every Wednesday. All of this by the hand of Orbest.
First o fall, Bilbao Air, the airline from Barceló Viajes, will connect weekly Bilbao with the airports of Tenerife and Fuerteventura on Mondays. And the island of Lanzarote, on Wednesdays.
Secondly, we cannot deny the undeniable weight of the Basque Country. The power of tourism in the domestic market is really important. So this new connection will be very well received by tourism on the island of Lanzarote. All of this in a context of decreasing domestic tourism market.
Finally, in Nautic Ocean, we have a really positive opinion regarding this connection. We think it will empower the beauty of the island. ¿How? By bringing closer to the Peninsula inhabitants the charm of the islands. Especially relevant is the fact that the tourism will be able to rise. So, more projects like this are optimum for the Canary Islands.
